Hydra Wedge tools are designed and manufactured with safety, performance, and durability as top priorities. Low operating pressure (2500 psi max) eliminates heavy hoses, threaded couplers and the inherent dangers of a 10,000 psi hydraulic system.

Six Hydra Wedge models are available with breaking forces from 14 to 160 tons. Tool handles are designed for operator comfort and efficiency.

The Hydra Wedge tool is designed to be used in either a vertical or horizontal position for increased maneuverability and efficiency. The slider wedge does not extend past the bill tips, which makes the tool effective on a broader range of castings.

Hydra Wedge de-gate tools obtain superior breaking power and safety by intensifying the 2500 psi working pressure to 10,000 psi within the Hydra Wedge tool itself all the benefits of 10,000 psi hydraulic power without the safety risks.
